This adventure balances guided sightseeing with opportunities to slow down and truly experience each destination. Expect several scenic travel days, moderate walking, and plenty of time to enjoy the journey without feeling rushed.

Participants should be comfortable with:

• Long overnight flights to/from the US

• Short flights to/from Australia and New Zealand

• Public transportation

• Half to full day ground transportation in vans/SUVs

• Walking 3 to 6 miles on some days

• Uneven terrain

• Stairs

• Standing during tours

• Carrying luggage (large checked bags are not permitted on this adventure)

• Entering and exiting vehicles

• Variations in weather due to the winter season and locations

• Participants should be comfortable with:

This inaugural Guided Adventure marks the beginning of a dream, the international launch of Into An Adventure Travel's Guided Adventures. As I take this exciting next step, I couldn't imagine sharing it with anyone other than the family and friends who have encouraged, supported, and believed in this journey from the very beginning.

Together, we'll celebrate more than incredible destinations. This adventure also honors milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and the memories that deserve to be celebrated in extraordinary places. From iconic landmarks to hidden gems, every chapter has been carefully curated so you can focus on what matters most, experiencing the adventure together. By slowing down and immersing ourselves in each destination, we'll create memories that will last a lifetime and stories we'll be telling long after we've found our way there and back again.

$70 USD Adventure Credit to use toward optional experiences, local transportation, or other eligible adventure expenses during designated free time throughout your journey.

International airfare from the US to Australia

Return international airfare from New Zealand to the US

Travel insurance, strongly recommended

Passport or visa fees, if required

Optional activities during scheduled free time

Specialty beverages not included with organized meals (only 1 specialty beverage per person per meal will be provided)

Personal expenses such as laundry, snacks, room service, and incidentals

Main Adventure Cost PP (based on 14 attendees): $3200.00

The cost will be broken down into 3 payment installments.

• $1,600 deposit due at the time of booking to reserve your space. Open January 1, 2027-June 1, 2027

• $800 second payment due October 1, 2027

• $800 final payment due March 15, 2028

Luggage Guidelines:

To ensure comfortable travel throughout the journey, large checked suitcases are not permitted.

This itinerary includes multiple hotel stays, frequent loading and unloading of luggage, domestic flights, and transportation in passenger vehicles with limited luggage capacity.

Packing light will make travel days easier and allow for a more enjoyable experience throughout the adventure.

Each traveler should plan to bring:

• One small to medium sized carry on suitcase (maximum airline carry on size recommended)

• One personal item, such as a backpack, tote bag, or small daypack

Suggested Packing List:

Traveling light is one of the best ways to enjoy this adventure. We recommend packing versatile, comfortable clothing that can be mixed and matched throughout the trip. Laundry facilities or services will be available at select accommodations, making it easy to refresh your wardrobe along the way.

Into An Adventure Travel is happy to provide helpful suggestions, resources, and travel tips to assist you in preparing for your international adventure. However, each traveler is ultimately responsible for researching, obtaining, and maintaining all required travel documents, meeting destination entry requirements, making necessary personal arrangements, and ensuring they are fully prepared for international travel. We encourage all travelers to review the following recommendations well in advance of departure.

Passports:

All international travelers should ensure their passports are valid for their destination and travel dates. Many countries require passports to remain valid for at least six months beyond the intended travel period. We recommend checking your passport's expiration date, available blank pages, and destination-specific requirements well before departure.

Visas & Entry Requirements:

Depending on your destination, citizenship, and travel itinerary, you may be required to obtain a visa, electronic travel authorization, or other entry documentation. Some destinations also require arrival forms, proof of onward travel, or additional documentation. Travelers are responsible for researching and obtaining all necessary authorizations before departure, including requirements for connecting or transit countries.

Vaccinations & Health Considerations:

Review recommended and required vaccinations, health precautions, and medical considerations for your destination. Consult your healthcare provider or travel health specialist well in advance of departure. Travelers should also review any restrictions regarding prescription medications and carry essential medications in their original packaging.

Electrical Adapters & Voltage Converters:

Electrical outlets and voltage requirements vary around the world. We recommend researching the electrical standards of your destination and bringing appropriate international plug adapters. Some electronic devices may also require a voltage converter. Always verify device compatibility before use.

International Phone & Data Plans:

Contact your mobile service provider before departure to review international calling, texting, and data options. Depending on your provider and destination, international roaming plans, local SIM cards, or eSIM services may be available. Reliable phone and internet access can be helpful for navigation, communication, and accessing important travel information.

Currency & Payment Methods:

Research the local currency and commonly accepted payment methods at your destination. We recommend carrying at least one internationally accepted credit or debit card and a small amount of local currency when appropriate. Review foreign transaction fees, ATM access, and any travel notification requirements with your financial institution before departure.

Travel Insurance:

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for international adventures. Consider coverage for trip cancellation, interruptions, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, lost or delayed luggage, and unexpected travel disruptions. Travelers are responsible for selecting and purchasing coverage appropriate for their individual needs.

Estimate around $125 for travel insurance.

Flights, Luggage & Travel Documents:

Review airline baggage restrictions, check-in requirements, connecting flight schedules, and transportation arrangements before departure. Keep essential medications, valuables, identification, and important travel documents in your carry-on luggage. We recommend maintaining both digital and backup copies of passports, travel authorizations, insurance information, and other important documents.

Local Customs, Culture & Travel Safety:

Take time to familiarize yourself with the customs, traditions, laws, and cultural expectations of your destination. Research local safety recommendations, appropriate attire, tipping practices, and any restrictions on items you may bring into the country. Respecting local customs and traditions is an important part of meaningful international travel.

Helpful International Travel Resources:

One of the best resources for preparing for international travel is the U.S. Department of State's official travel website, Travel.State.Gov. This website provides destination-specific information, including passport and visa requirements, entry and exit regulations, travel advisories, local laws, safety recommendations, and other important considerations.

We strongly encourage travelers to review the information for each country they plan to visit, including any transit countries, both when planning their adventure and again before departure.

U.S. citizens may also consider enrolling in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), a free service that provides important safety updates and alerts from U.S. embassies and consulates while traveling abroad.
